How to Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a customer relationship management software system used by small and large businesses to develop business intelligence and customer service solutions to help increase marketing, sales and service capabilities. As a rapid development platform, Microsoft Dynamics CRM offers developers the ability to build powerful applications with Sharepoint, Silverlight and mobile integration. Installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 on to your server requires that your server has a minimum of 400MB of space available on its hard drive and at least 1GB of RAM.

Log in to your server under an administrator account. Then log in to the domain where you intend to install the Microsoft Dynamics CRM software. You must be logged in as an administrator.

Locate the Microsoft Dynamics CRM installation files on the server. Open the root folder of the installation files and double-click on the "SetupServer.exe" file. The installation process will begin.

Click "Update Installation Files" on the "Welcome to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4 Setup" screen. Click "Next" after the update is completed.

Type the 16 digit Microsoft Dynamic CRM license code into the license code boxes on the "License Code Information" screen. Click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.

Click the "I accept this license agreement" box and then click the "I accept" button at the bottom of the screen. The installation process will begin. It may take up to 10 minutes to complete. Then the setup process will begin.

Select and specify server roles on the "Specify Server Roles" page of the setup process. Read and complete the next few setup screens.

Click "Install" on the "Ready to Install the Application" screen. The "Microsoft Dynamic CRM 4.0 Completed" screen will appear when installation is finished.

Tips & Warnings
In order to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, you must install the Connector for SQL Server Reporting Services software after installing Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is installed on the server.
