How to Send Multiple Texts on the iPhone

The iPhone is a smartphone manufactured by Apple. Along with several other functions, you can send SMS or text messages to your friends and family. If you want to send the same text message to several recipients, it is possible by creating a new message and adding each of your recipients to the "To" section of the message. You can add as many recipients as you wish. Note that standard text message rates apply for each of the messages sent.

  • Press the "Home" button on the iPhone to wake it.

  • Slide the on-screen slider to the right with your finger to unlock the phone.

  • Tap the "Messages" icon on the home screen.

  • Tap the "Writing" icon in the upper right corner of the screen to create a new message. The "Writing" icon resembles a square with a pencil in it.

  • Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner of the screen, in the "To" section, to add recipients to the message. A list of contacts will appear. Scroll through your contacts and tap one to add them to the message. Repeat this process for as many of your saved contacts as you wish to add as recipients of the message.

  • Tap the ".?123" button in the bottom right corner of the screen and enter the seven or 10-digit phone number by tapping the on-screen numbers for any recipients that you do not have saved in your contacts list. Note that you can skip this step if you have all recipients saved as contacts.

  • Tap inside the "Message" box above the on-screen keyboard and type in your message using the on-screen keyboard.

  • Press the "Send" button to send multiple text messages out at once to all of the recipients added.
