How to Activate Nero 8

Nero is a computer program that allows the user to burn CD's, DVD's and other media. Nero 8 allows users to create and edit files, convert and share the file, stream media and rip and burn media that is not protected by copyright. Prior to using Nero 8, it is necessary to activate the software by connecting to the Internet and authenticating the software through the manufacturer.

Instructions

1. Open the Nero 8 program by clicking on the "Start" menu and then choosing "Programs."

2. Click on the "Nero 8" icon to open the program.

3. Click on "Activate Now" when prompted by the manufacturer to open the "Nero 8 Control Panel."

4. Click on the "Key" icon in the "Nero 8 Control Panel."

5. Enter the serial number that you were given upon purchasing your copy of Nero 8.

6. Click on "OK." Wait for the Nero 8 to use your Internet connection to verify the serial key entered, which usually takes 30 seconds or less.

7. Click "Finish" after Nero 8 displays the congratulation page and confirms that your serial key is valid.
