Purchase an essential oil that matches your scent preference.

Add three drops of essential oil for every 1.5 ounces of pomade. More or less essential oil can be added, depending on the strength of smell you desire.

Tips & Warnings
If your pomade is thick and waxy, try heating it before adding the essential oil to make it easier to mix.
Lavender essential oil is good for normal to oily types of hair and can be used to treat dry scalp. Lemon or orange essential oil is good for oily hair. Peppermint essential oil is good for dry hair and can help your hair grow. Rosemary essential oil is good for all hair types and the overall health of your scalp.
Allergic reaction to essential oils is possible. If you have sensitive skin, test the oil before adding it to the pomade.
