Instructions

    • 1

Pour the salt, pepper, onion, garlic and paprika into the bowl. Mix it together with a spoon.

    • 2

Pour a small amount, no more than a teaspoon, of the seasoning mix onto the steak. Pat it into the meat.

    • 3

Dip a basting brush into olive oil. Spread the olive oil all over the steak. This will give the outside of the steak more flavor and prevent it from sticking to grill grates and pans.

    • 4

Place the steak onto the grill, stove or in a pan and cook until medium-rare. Cook the steaks on each side for about 3 to 4 minutes. Insert a meat thermometer into the middle of the steaks. When it reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit, it's medium-rare, according to Ask the Meat Man.

Tips & Warnings

  • The seasoning recipe makes enough for about 3 steaks, depending on size.
