How to Make a Glossy CD Cover on a CD
The presentation and design for a CD is an important aspect of CD creation. Whether the CD contains music, software or even a video game, it's the glossy cover that portrays an image of what's inside. Successfully making a glossy CD cover can be done in a few steps and only requires up to 10 minutes to accomplish. Within no time your CD will be finely presented.
Things You'll Need
- Image manipulation program
- Printer
- 4.75" width x 4.75" length paper (for cover)
- CD label (for disc)

Open your image in your image manipulation program.

Set and crop the image to 1,425 by 1,425 pixels. Make sure the DPI is set to 300.

Create a circle 56 pixels in diameter in the center of the image.

Add text to the image relating to your CD, such as the title or artist/creator.

Save the completed image and print it to your CD label.

Place the label on the CD.
