How to Set Up a Company Email With Google
The decision to set up a company email account with Google (or any email provider) should be approached with care. Review Google's terms of service first. Internet attorney Mike Young cautions that business ideas and trade secrets should be kept private, and he views using a Gmail account for company email as a risk. Young states that your business communications are not private on an advertiser-supported email account because incoming emails are scanned for advertising keywords. Companies may secure ad-free Gmail accounts, which Google claims will reduce IT costs as well as email-related maintenance costs, by paying an annual fee during the setup process.
