How to Enter the Peace Corps With Your Spouse
The Peace Corps is an organization where teachers, engineers and medical workers volunteer to serve in an impoverished country for a period of 27 months. In order to volunteer with a spouse, you must be legally married, both of you must qualify to serve and there must be matching jobs for both you in the same location. Couples must also be married for one full year before their date of departure to serve together in the Peace Corps. Keep in mind that the application process can take anywhere from six months to a year.
