How to Get the Neopets Themes
"Neopets" is a virtual pet site that allows users to take part in various activities, such as games, plots and role playing. While playing on the website, you can unlock several different themes that will change the way the website appears. For example, if you unlock the "Purple" theme, the site will turn from the default yellow color to purple. While many themes have been retired forever, there are still a few that can be unlocked if you know what to do.

Refresh any Neopets page between 11:59:00 p.m. to 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific time on Halloween night to unlock the "Haunted Woods" theme. You will only have 60 seconds to unlock this theme before it's retired for another year, so be sure to act quickly. You will get a "Random Event" telling you when you've succeeded in unlocking it.

Unlock the "Valentine's Day" theme by sending "A Mysterious Valentines Card" to a user on February 14. These cards can be purchased at the gift shop or from other users using the shop wizard. You can send the card by going to your inventory, clicking on the item and selecting the "Send to Neofriend" option. Both you and the recipient will then get a "Random Event" telling you that you've unlocked the theme.

Unlock the "Winter/Christmas" theme by visiting and collecting daily prizes from the Advent calendar every day in December. You can get to the Advent calendar by clicking "Explore," "Terror Mountain" and then "Advent Calendar." Visit the calendar on December 31 and you will receive a "Random Event" telling you that you've unlocked the theme.

Unlock the "Premium Space Faerie" theme by joining Neopets Premium and referring five users. Each user must sign up and stay with Neopets Premium for at least 16 days for you to be eligible for the theme. You will then get a "Random Event" telling you that you've unlocked the theme.

Unlock the "Purple" theme by viewing a purple Neopet that has a purple Petpet attached. You can do this by using the search bar at the bottom left side of the screen and searching for the pet "Trixie_3O3," "GraphicPickUps" or "Loozzee."
