How to Change a Google Apps Email Password

Google Apps lets you create email accounts for a domain that you own. You have significant control over each of these email addresses; you can choose to let the owner of a particular address be an administrator for your Google Apps account, for example. You can also change the password on any of the Google Apps email accounts you have created.

Instructions

    • 1

Navigate to the Google Apps web page and sign in if you have not already done so. This takes you to your main Google Apps page.

    • 2

Click the "Organization & Users" tab on the main Google Apps page. This shows a list of all the users and email addresses associated with the account.

    • 3

Click the name of the user whose password you wish to change. This takes you to a "User information" page for this specific user. Click the blue "Change password" link.

    • 4

Enter and re-enter the desired new password for the user in the appropriate fields. Click "Save Changes" when you are done. You have now successfully changed the Google Apps email password for this user.
