How to Decorate Your Agenda

An agenda can help you keep track of a work or personal schedule. Also known as a planner, an agenda can contain a calendar as well as other pertinent information such as to-do lists, addresses and phone numbers. If you have a plain agenda and want to personalize it, decorate your agenda to suit your preferences and personality. Use craft materials, stickers or anything that strikes your fancy.

Things You'll Need

  • Decorative tape
  • Magazine
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Stickers
  • Gel pens
  • Apply decorative tape to the front and back covers of the agenda. Choose any pattern that you like. If you would like to keep the agenda simple, choose a pattern such as neutral stripes or polka dots. For a fresh, girly look, apply decorative tape with a feminine pattern such as strawberries all over the agenda.

  • Add your name or inspirational phrases to decorate your agenda. Cut these out of a magazine or make them yourself using your computer. Print it out. Use clear tape to attach your name or inspirational phrases to the agenda. Cover all of the paper with the tape to keep the paper from tearing.

  • Put stickers on your agenda. Use any kind of stickers that reflect your personality or personal tastes. You can also use letter stickers to spell out your name on it.

  • Decorate the inside of the agenda with colored gel pens. Write your name, child's name or anything that you like. Gel pens are fun and come in an array of colors to match your style and personality.
