Go to the "Sign In" link on the USPS website. Click the "I Forgot My Password" link under the boxes where you are supposed to enter your username and password. This is the way you must change your password.

Enter your username into the box provided and click "Continue." An email will be sent to the email address you used to create your account with USPS with a temporary password.

Log in to your email and open the email sent to you by the USPS. Click on the link within the email to return to the USPS website and use your temporary password to log in to your account. You are required to change your password before you can access your account information at this point; temporary passwords are only available for use one time.

Enter your new password after your temporary password. Re-enter it for verification and continue on to your account.
