Instructions

Create a Border Using a Border Paper Punch
-
1
Place a piece of cardstock or stationery on a work surface in front of you.
-
2
Starting on one side of the paper, maneuver the border punch up into the paper as far as it will go, aligning the punch so that it lies evenly against the edge of the paper.
-
-
3
Press down on the punch with one hand while holding the paper in place on the work surface with the other hand.
-
4
Repeat this process until you have worked your way around the entire circumference of the paper. Most border punches are several inches in length and have a repetitive pattern that allows you to save time by punching the paper only a few times to achieve the desired effect.
