How to Make Pilgrim Costumes for Boys & Girls
When the holidays roll around, sometimes you need to come up with a costume for a party or a play. If your children need a costume for a Thanksgiving event, dressing as Pilgrims is an obvious choice. You don't need to purchase Pilgrim costumes from a local costume shop; you can easily make the outfits yourself using things you already have or items you can find at a craft store or thrift shop.

Have the boy wear a pair of long white socks that come up to the bottom of the pants, and pair them with a pair of black shoes.

3
Cut buckle shapes out of a piece of yellow cardboard. Glue a yellow buckle onto the cuff of each sleeve. Glue another buckle onto each black shoe.

Cut a 1-inch strip out of white poster board that is long enough to fit around the brim of the hat. Glue the white poster board onto the hat. Add a yellow buckle onto the front of the hat.
