How to Miter Outside Crown Moulding Edges

Crown molding in the U.S. is positioned at 52 degrees ceiling and 38 degrees wall. That's the angle between the piece of crown molding board and the ceiling or wall. Miter saws can be used to cut crown molding if you know the type of cut you want to achieve, the miter, or table setting; and the bevel, or tilt setting. Possible types of cut include left and right inside corners, and left and right outside corners. In all cases the miter setting angle will be 31.6 degrees and the tilt setting angle will be 33.9 degrees. Variables include the top or bottom edge of the molding's placement against the fence, and which end to save after the cut. Does this Spark an idea?
