How to Download Picasa 3.6
If you do not like the most recent build of Picasa, version 3.8, then download an older version of the application. Google stores older versions of the software on its website for sometime, but eventually takes them down. At the time of publication, Picasa 3.6 was available for download from Google for you to install it as you wish on your computer. When Google stops hosting the file, it will require you to find a third-party website that offers the Picasa 3.6 download.

Specify, if your Web browser prompts you, a download location.

Open up the Picasa 3.6 installation file in the location you saved it by double-clicking it. Follow the on-screen instructions for the install.
