How to Troubleshoot a HeatMor Outdoor Stove

Save

HeatMor outdoor stoves are stainless steel furnaces designed for outdoor use to help heat a home, garage, patio, deck, pool or any other outdoor area. The outdoor stove can find use in both residential and commercial applications and sells online or through select dealers or home supply stores. While the HeatMor furnace should operate well with regular cleaning, care and maintenance, issues may occur with the unit. If this happens, some troubleshooting may help users figure out a solution to the problem.

Things You'll Need

  • Noncombustible container
  • Clean cloth(s)
  • Wood
  • Make sure the HeatMor outdoor stove is connected to a power supply if the unit is not functioning at all. Replace or reset the fuse as needed.

  • Add more wood if the unit has power but is no longer heating as expected. Most heat loads can supply warmth for at least 12 hours of burn time but will need replenishing if the fire gets low.

  • Disconnect power to the unit and open the rear access panel if the outdoor furnace is not maintaining an accurate temperature or heating well. Clean out the ash container into a 5 to 8 gallon noncombustible container and return the ash container to the rear of the unit.

  • Contact HeatMor for additional assistance as necessary.
