Save

A slideshow is an engaging way to share your photos with friends and family. If you own an iPhone you can download a slideshow maker through Apple's App Store. Many of these applications are free but require payment for the upgraded version. This allows you to experiment with the different slideshow makers before you make a purchase.

  • Tap on the "App Store" application that came pre-installed on your iPhone.

  • Tap on "Search" from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

  • Tap on the text field at the top of the page to activate the keyboard.

  • Type in "Photo Slideshow."

  • Browse through your results page.

  • Tap on any application to read more about what featured it includes. Some things to consider are how many photos can be featured in each slideshow, whether or not you can use your own music or if you have to choose from music provided by the application, what photo transition features are included, how long a slideshow takes to create and whether or not the slideshow can be saved to your computer, sent by email or uploaded to popular social networking websites.

  • Tap on "Reviews" at the bottom of the page to read customer reviews about the application.

  • Tap on the arrow at the top left corner of the page to return to the application's information screen.

  • Tap on the purchase button in the top right corner of the application`s information screen to download it. The button will either say "Free" or it will display a monetary amount for the application.

  • Tap on the "Buy Now" button, located where the purchase button was.

  • Type in your Apple ID password in the pop-up dialogue box. This will cause the App Store to close and will redirect you to the page where your application is being downloaded.

  • Tap on the application once it has downloaded.

  • Read through the instructions included within the application.

  • Build your slideshow using the features available. This will involve selecting photos saved to your iPhone, organizing the photos in the order you want them to appear, selecting music and choosing a slideshow style.
