How to Surf in "Team Fortress 2"
"Team Fortress 2" is a first-person multi-player video game made by Valve Corporation. The game is primarily known for its shooting-based player-versus-player maps, but it also has certain customized levels called surf maps. The objective of these maps is for players to glide across platforms of different sizes and shapes and hop from ramp to ramp. The control mechanics when surfing are slightly different than what players find in the standard "Team Fortress 2" shooter maps. However, anyone can become a proficient surfer with the execution of proper controls.

Stay on the surf ramp by strafing against it. Press the "A" or "Left Arrow" buttons on your keyboard to move to the left, and press "B" or the "Right Arrow" to move to the right.
-
2
Steer your character by moving with the mouse. When turning corners, move your mouse smoothly so you do not make a sharp turn off the surf ramp. Remove your hold on a strafe button to further prevent yourself from going off the ramp.

3
Move your mouse to steer into the surf in order to execute a jump at the end of the ramp. The faster your momentum, the greater your jump will become.

Tips & Warnings
When jumping onto multiple surf ramps, steer yourself so that you are facing each ramp. Ensure that you switch strafe buttons whenever possible so that you continue to surf against each ramp.
Do not use the "W" or "Forward Arrow" button to go forward, or the "S" or "Back Arrow" to move back. Pressing any of these buttons will interfere with your surfing.
