Instructions

  1. Small Decorations

    • 1

Paint a handful of walnuts deep red with acrylic paint and a small brush. Wait for the painted walnuts to dry.

    • 2

Add black dots of paint randomly over the walnuts and wait for them to dry.

    • 3

Coat the nuts in acrylic spray to seal paint, so it does not chip.

    • 4

Cut two green leaves for each nut from bright green felt. Glue the top of the leaves to the top center of the nuts so the length of the leaves hangs free.

    • 5

Poke a small hole through the center of one leaf and pull a string through the hole. Knot the string to form a loop large enough to hang over hooks and knobs.

    Large Decorations

    • 6

Draw a large shape of a slightly rounded "V" with the curved ends and a straight horizontal line across the top on two pieces of red felt with magic marker. The side you draw on will be the inside of the strawberry. Cut the two pieces of felt along the line with fabric scissors.

    • 7

Use black puff paint to make small dots randomly all over the felt. Wait for it to dry. Place the two pieces of felt together so the black dots are facing in and any magic marker traces are facing out.

    • 8

Leave the top of the strawberry open, but sew or staple an inseam from one end, down to the bottom tip and up the other end. Turn the strawberry right side out and stuff it with pillow stuffing. Sew or staple the top seams of the strawberry.

    • 9

Cut one or two large green leaves from felt and sew the leaves at the top to the center for added detail.
