How to Get Seasoning to Stick to Already-Steamed Crab Legs
Crabs, along with lobsters and shrimp, belong to a group of arthropods called crustaceans. Crab legs are a protein-rich delicacy served all over the world. When it comes to preparing crabs legs, steaming the legs is a common choice. While you should add seasoning to the legs before consumption, adding seasoning after steaming helps enhance the flavor to the legs and replaces any spices lost during preparation. Things You'll Need
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- Spoon
- Saucepan
- Sauce brush
- Tongs
- 3 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. seafood seasoning
- Wooden spoon

Scoop a generous amount of butter into a saucepan over low heat. Allow the butter to melt completely. Lower the heat so it's barely on.

Dip a sauce brush into the butter and coat the entire surface area of each crab's leg. Hold the legs with tongs while you do this. The coat of butter will ensure that any subsequent seasoning you put on will stick.

Sprinkle your 3 tsp. minced garlic into your saucepan. Add 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes. Shake 1 tsp. seafood seasoning onto the pan. Mix them around with a wooden spoon.

Add your crabs legs to the pan. Raise the heat to medium and lightly saute them for five to 10 minutes.
