You must copy contacts individually.

The BlackBerry 8320 is part of the popular Curve series. It operates on GSM, or Global System Mobility, networks, and uses a SIM card to connect to the network. You can also save important phone contacts to your BlackBerry's SIM card. Saving contacts to the SIM makes it easy to move your address book to a new device, and also serves as a means of backing up your contacts. You can only copy names and numbers to the SIM card, but most cards can store hundreds of entries.

Instructions

    • 1

Use the trackball to highlight and select the "Address Book" icon. Your contacts list appears.

    • 2

Use the trackball to highlight a name you want to copy. Press in the trackball to open the contact and view details.

    • 3

Highlight the number you want to copy to the SIM and press the "Menu" key. A list of options appears; select "Copy to SIM Phone Book."

    • 4

Review the name and number to be copied. Use the keypad to make any needed edits. Press the "Menu" key, then select "Save" to store the entry on the SIM card.

    • 5

Repeat the above steps for each name and number to be added to your SIM card. There is no "Copy All" option, so you must copy each entry individually, even entries with multiple numbers.

Tips & Warnings

  • To view your SIM phone book, open the "Address Book." Press "Menu," then choose "SIM Phone Book."
