How to Combine Two Pictures in LunaPic

LunaPic is an online, freeware photo editing website. Designed with many creative photo manipulation resources, you can use LunaPic for everything from adding text and background effects to resizing and blending images. Combining two pictures would be categorized under the editorial action of "blending" in LunaPic. Blending simply requires that you upload and properly merge two different pictures into one image. While such actions may seem difficult, LunaPic is a user-friendly utility, making the editorial action less complicated to complete.

  • Navigate to the LunaPic website in the browser.

  • Select the "Effects" tab at the top of the LunaPic menu. Then, click the "Blend Two Images" option when the Effects menu collapses.

  • Click "Browse" on the Blending page, and select the first picture of your choice when the window pops up.

  • Hit the "Upload Now" button to move the first picture to the LunaPic editor. Then, click "Browse" again, and select the second picture. The second image will appear in the editing platform once it's been processed.

  • Click "Continue on To Paste This Image" to move the second image in with the first one. Both images will appear on the next screen.

  • Drag the second picture left or right as needed and align the two pictures for proper blending.

  • Click one of the four yellow squares on the second picture to resize the image if needed.

  • Blend the pictures together properly using the transparency and rotation tools above them.

  • Click "Apply Pasted Image" once you've finished blending the images as you desire.

Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid uploading the same image twice. The first image will not be visible immediately after uploading. You will need to upload the second image and proceed to step 5 before you can see both pictures. So, do not upload the first picture twice because it isn't visible initially. You'll end up uploading the same picture twice.
