How to Turn Off & On the Sound on a Nokia 5130
The Nokia 5130 XPress Music phone was offered through TMobile. The 5130's main feature is being able to download music from your computer or a microSD card onto an XPress Music player. After playing music for a while you may want to turn the sound off. Turning the volume off also turns your incoming call ring off.

Look on the right edge of your Nokia 5130. You will see three rectangular buttons.

Press the bottom of the three buttons multiple times until the volume is off. The volume will be indicated on the screen.

Turn up the volume by pressing the middle button until the volume is restored to your desired level.
