How to Copy Yahoo Emails to a CD

Every now and then you may receive an email that you want to burn onto a CD for backup. This could be an important document, a receipt or just a conversation you want to remember. To copy the email, you'll have to make use of Yahoo! Mail's print functionality. It's best to start by organizing your inbox and selecting the emails you want to copy. In order to complete the process, you'll need to have a computer with a CD burner.

Instructions

    • 1

Sign in to your Yahoo! account. Click the "Add" button beside the "Folders" menu, located on the left-hand side. Type in a name for your folder.

    • 2

Drag and drop all of the emails you want to copy into the folder you've created.

    • 3

Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your computer.

    • 4

Right-click on the first email you want to print, and select "Print" from the menu that appears.

    • 5

Click "Microsoft XPS document" in the "Select a Printer" dialog box. Click "Print."

    • 6

Select the CD drive and click "Save." Your email will be saved onto the CD. Repeat this process with every email in the folder. Unfortunately, you can't transfer the whole folder at one time.
