How to Program an RCA Universal Remote Control on a Memorex TV

Universal remote controls are very useful tools when it comes to controlling multiple devices. Depending on the model, your RCA universal remote control has the ability to operate anywhere from three to eight devices through a single push of the button corresponding to the device. In order to program your RCA universal remote, you need to enter the right code to sync the remote to your Memorex TV.

Instructions

1. Hold down the "Code Search" button on your remote. Hold this button down until Step 4.

2. Press the "TV" button at the top of the remote until it flashes.

3. Enter "005" into the keypad.

4. Release the "Code Search" button on the remote.

5. Turn on your TV and try a few buttons on your remote. If your TV does not respond, repeat Steps 1 through 4.
