How to Use Affiliate Programs Without a Website
Affiliate programs are a popular method of advertising on the Internet, and operate in a simple manner. Advertisements are placed on websites; when the ad is clicked, a tracking cookie records the affiliate partner who referred the customer. The partner is paid a referral fee based on the sales she generates. You do not need a website to use an affiliate program. Anyone can make money with an affiliate program.

1
Select an affiliate program to promote. Consider what types of products you can successfully promote. Find a website that sells these programs and look to see if they have an affiliate program you can sign up for. There is typically a link on the bottom of the page that says "Affiliates" or "Webmasters." Click it and fill out the form to sign up.

2
Obtain a short URL to advertise your affiliate link. Affiliate URLs need to be shortened to be advertised effectively. Buy an Internet domain name, such as whatever.com, and set it to forward to your affiliate link. If you do not want to buy a domain, you can use a URL shortener, such as tinyurl.com, bit.ly or ff.ly.

Print out business card advertisements. Leave the cards on counters in local businesses. You can also pin the cards up on bulletin boards at car washes and coin-operated laundries. On the cards, include information about the products at your affiliate link, as well as providing your URL.
-
4
Place an advertisement in the classifieds section of local newspapers. Classified advertising can be cheap and effective.
-
5
Advertise in e-zines that are related to the products you are selling. E-zines are electronic magazines, typically sent out monthly by a website. Sponsoring an advertisement within the e-zine is a great way to advertise your link before a targeted audience. Choose popular websites that relate to the products found at your affiliate link and ask for a rate sheet for e-zine advertising.
