How to Modify Google Maps
If you have a Google account, or you would like to create one, you can make corrections to a physical location that has been improperly marked in Google Maps. If you are using Google Maps and notice a property marker has been placed incorrectly, the editing option allows you to move the property marker to the accurate location and save the corrections. You can move the marker up to 200 meters from the original placement for an immediate edit. If you move the marker more than a distance of 200 meters, your edits will need to be approved.
