Raising money to buy a business license could help launch a successful company.

Business licenses are necessary for many types of companies, with prices varying widely depending on the state or the city. A license could cost less than a hundred dollars or several hundred dollars. A company or entrepreneur struggling just to pay the business license probably is not well financed. However, many successful companies start on a shoestring and grow into successful enterprises. Several options exist for getting money to pay for a business license.

Instructions

Contact the local or state government authority to determine the cost of the license. Explore options to pay by credit card, if that is an option.

Work as an apprentice for a company with the type of business license that you seek. For example, working for a company that is licensed as a roofing contractor or heating and air conditioning specialist allows you to learn about the business while saving for a license of your own.
