How to Run System Restore on Dell Mini 9

Run Windows System Restore on your Dell Inspiron Mini 9 to roll back the computer's settings to a previous date. The System Restore utility takes snapshots of your computer that you can use to restore it to should you begin experiencing problems with your machine. The tool is especially useful if you are experiencing problems resulting from a failed software installation or after a change in your computer's settings. System Restore does not affect any personal files you have saved to your computer, unlike other restoration processes.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start," then click "Control Panel."

    • 2

Click "System and Security," then click the "Action Center" on the next screen. Select "Recovery" at the bottom of the window.
