Your corneas can begin to deteriorate with age; luckily, you can strengthen them back to health by performing some natural eye exercises. Performing these activities daily will give you an increased chance of prolonged cornea health. They serve as a useful alternative to major surgery or other remedial measures. Try these exercises before you go to more intrusive alternatives.
Sit down comfortably. Place your palms over your eyes. Make sure no light enters your palms. Breathe deeply and relax. Perform this for 10 minutes.
Stand up. Focus on an object in the distance. Keep your eyes focused on the object and begin to sway back and forth. Blink naturally throughout. Perform about 100 sways.
Hold a small object in your hand. Keep your eyes focused on the object and breathe naturally. Bring the object closer to your eyes and eventually touch your nose with the object. Keep breathing naturally and move the object away from your face. Retain focus for the entire time.
