Instructions for Playing Spinner Dominoes
Spinner dominoes is a popular variation on the traditional game. Similar to traditional dominoes, the object of spinner dominoes is to be the player with the lowest score at the end of the game. Spinner dominoes is played with a full set of dominoes plus 11 extra "spinner" dominoes. Spinners are wild and can be played anywhere.
Instructions

1
Mix up all of the tiles so that the spinners are combined with the regular dominoes.
-
2
Draw tiles according to the number of players. If there are two players, each player draws 14 dominoes. If there are 3 to 8 players, each player draws 7 and any leftover tiles serve as the boneyard.
-
-
3
Begin the game with the 9-9 tile, played by whoever is holding it. If nobody has the 9-9, a double-spinner should be played instead. If no player has a 9-9 or a double-spinner, then the player who shuffled the dominoes draws one tile from the boneyard. Moving clockwise, each player should draw a tile from the boneyard until someone draws a 9-9 or double-spinner tile to begin the game.
-
4
Place the 9-9 or double-spinner in the center of the table. The next two turns must contain a 9 or a spinner.
-
5
Draw a domino from the reserve pile, or boneyard, each time you do not have a valid play in your hand.
-
6
Place each of the 3 plays following a double tile on that double. The dominoes placed on each double tile must have a matching end or a spinner. If a player does not have a valid play in hand on his turn, he has one chance to draw a domino and if a playable tile is not drawn he must skip his turn.
-
7
Play the turn following the third domino on a double anywhere on the layout.
-
8
Continue playing until a player runs out of tiles. The person who runs out of tiles first is the winner of the hand.
-
9
Add up the remaining points for each player. The dots on each domino count as face value, the spinners are each worth 10 points and doubles are worth 20. Give all score totals to the scorekeeper to record.
-
10
Have the winner of the current hand shuffle the dominoes for the next round. The winner is also first to draw from the boneyard if no player draws the starter tiles for the next hand.
-
11
Begin the next hand in the same fashion as the first, but with an 8-8 domino or double-spinner rather than a 9-9.
