How to Install Adobe After Effects Plug-Ins

Save

Adobe After Effects is a powerful visual-effects program, with tools to create additions to video clips. The After Effects program does not come with a long list of plugins, as the company (along with third-party individuals) is constantly releasing new features. If you have an Adobe After Effects plugin, you need to properly install it.

  • Click "Start" button, choose "Computer" and double-click the "C:" drive icon.

  • Select "Program Files," "Adobe" and "Adobe After Effects."

  • Double-click the "Support Files" folder. This is where all the plug-in options are installed.

  • Click-and-drag the plug-in into the open window. This loads the new effect.
