How to Burn MP3s to an Audio CD for Free
Burning MP3s to an audio CD is useful when you want to play the MP3s on a CD player in your car, your home stereo or another computer. Burning MP3s to an audio CD for free is a task that you can accomplish on any computer with a CD burner. The software needed to burn MP3s to audio CDs comes pre-installed on both PC and Macintosh computers. If using a PC, you can use Windows Media Player. If using a Macintosh, you can use iTunes.

Click "Start" and select "Programs."

Open "Windows Media Player."

Select the "Burn" tab inside Windows Media Player. Drag the MP3s you want to burn to an audio CD into the "Burn List."

Click the "Start Burn" button inside the "Burn List" and insert a blank CD-R (CD Recordable) into your CD burner. After doing so, the burning process will start automatically.

Eject the CD from your computer when the burning process is complete. You have now successfully burned MP3s to an audio CD for free.
Macintosh

Click the "Finder" and select "Applications."

Open "iTunes."

Click "File," then "New Playlist" inside iTunes and drag the MP3s you want to burn to an audio CD into the new playlist that appears.

Highlight this playlist to select it.

Click the "Burn Disc" button inside of the playlist and insert a blank CD-R (CD Recordable) into your CD burner.

Click "Burn" to start the CD burning process.

Eject the CD from your computer when the burning process is complete. You have now successfully burned MP3s to an audio CD for free.
