How to Export From QuickBooks 2007 to Excel
QuickBooks is accounting and business software built by Intuit. The program is a useful tool for both professional accountants and consumers looking to manage their businesses. BusinessWeek reports that as of 2005, QuickBooks had a 74 percent market share. The software provides many customization options for reporting and allows all data to be exported into Microsoft Excel. Exporting reports allows users to conduct custom calculations and enjoy features not available within the QuickBooks software.

Open QuickBooks and load the report you with to export. Click the "Export..." button above the document. The "Export..." button is the third tier of button options, below the main "File" menus and below the icon buttons like "Home."

Select the format in which you wish to save the report in Excel. For example, to create a new document, rather than import an additional excel sheet in an old document, click the "a new Excel workbook" radio button.

Click the "Export" button at the bottom of the "Export Report" window to export the current report. The Excel document will be automatically created (or altered) according to the options you selected.
