How to Lace Nike Dunks

Some people collect stamps and other people collect Nike running shoes, including the Nike Dunk. These are shoes based on the limited-edition Nike Dunks worn by certain college basketball teams years ago, and now they are available again on the market. Whether you have an original pair of Dunks or a new pair, they both come unlaced from Nike. To lace them, you need the laces that came with the shoes and about 10 minutes of time. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Put one of the shoes in front of you so that the heel of the shoe is closest to you. Push the tongue of the shoe down into the base so you can access the lace eyelets.

    • 2

Pull the shoelace from the inside of the Dunk out through the eyelet located closest to the toe of the shoe. Pull the other side of the shoelace through the eyelet on the other side of the shoe, also closest to the toe, and from the inside of the shoe out. Hold the laces tight, then pull one side or the other until the two sides are equal length.

    • 3

Place the shoelace on the left side of the shoe into the eyelet just above the bottom eyelet on the right side of the shoe. Repeat for the right side of the shoe, forming an "X" shape with the two laces.

    • 4

Fill each eyelet up the front of the shoes, working from side to side and creating a series of "X" shapes up the front of the shoe until there are no more eyelets to fill. Repeat the process for the other shoe.
