How to Cut Biscotti
Biscotti, or twice-baked Italian biscuits, are dry, crunchy and ideal for dipping into a hot cup of coffee. Biscotti, which are made with flour, sugar and eggs among other baking ingredients, feature a wide range of flavors. Depending on your tastes, make almond, chocolate, vanilla, anise, macadamia nut biscotti. Individual servings of biscotti can be costly, so make your own from scratch in an oven. Make the biscotti dough according to your favorite recipe.

Form the biscotti dough into 12-inch long by 2-inch wide logs on a buttered and floured baking sheet.

Bake the biscotti for 35 minutes, or until the dough begins to firm up. Allow the biscotti logs to cool for five minutes prior to cutting them into individual pieces.

Place the biscotti logs onto a cutting board and slice them into 3/4-inch pieces using a diagonal cut. Continue baking the biscotti pieces until they are crisp.
