How to Open, Save and Print JPGs Sent As Email Attachments
Before email, if you wanted to share photos with friends and family, you had to get copies when the photos were developed, stick them in an envelope and mail them at the post office. Now, photos can be scanned into a computer or taken from digital camera and sent as attachments in an email message. Most photos taken with digital cameras are saved in the JPEG or JPG image format.
