How to Remove the Skype Button From Firefox

When users download the free Skype video calling program, a Skype plug-in is automatically installed in the default toolbar of the browser. If your default browser is Mozilla Firefox, you will see a Skype button at the top of the page. The plug-in highlights Skype names and phone numbers in search pages and allows you to make a call by simply clicking the highlighted number. Remove the Skype plug-in if you no longer wish to have names and numbers in Web pages highlighted by Skype.
