How to Get Rid of MyFave140

How to Get Rid of MyFave140 thumbnail
Some background images come tied with MyFave140 links.

Twitter users occasionally see a link to MyFave40 appear in the sidebar of their profile homepage. Neither Twitter nor the company indicates how to remove it. (The MyFave40 website is defunct, making the link even more useless.) The secret is that it is tied in to certain pre-made background images. Changing the image will remove the MyFave140 link.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to your Twitter profile page.

    • 2

Click "Settings" in the upper right corner.

    • 3

      Click "Change Background Image."

    • 4

Click "Browse" to select a new background image online, or click one of Twitter's premade selections.

    • 5

Click the "Save Changes" button. You will now see the MyFave140 link gone along with the old image.
