How to Back-up Photos With an External USB
Digital photos that are stored in a computer can represent previous memories and other important events in a person's life. Due to that importance, it is vital that digital photos be backed-up to a secondary storage location, such as an external USB drive. The two most common types of USB storage are hard drives and flash, or "thumb," drives. You can back-up your photos to a USB storage device with Windows Explorer.
