Do-It-Yourself Juicing
Juicing, whether it be fruits or vegetables, is an effective way to get necessary nutrients from foods you might not ordinarily choose to eat. Juicing also allows to you control the amount of sugar and other ingredients that you consume. A juicer, or extractor is the only tool you really need to get juice from just about any fruit or vegetable you wish to try. Does this Spark an idea?

Juice sprouts, leaves and seeds. With a few exception, such as the leaves of carrots and apple seeds, you can juice these items with no ill effects. Leaves of carrots and seeds of apples are considered toxic, so you should avoid those. Celery leaves tend to be bitter, so you can leave those out as well, but they will not harm you.

Use organic fruits whenever possible. Otherwise you will need to remove the peel or rind before juicing. In many cases, this removes a significant amount of nutritional value.

Learn what combinations of fruits and vegetables will offer the health benefits you seek. For example a mixture of carrot and potato juice for breakfast will help a stomach ulcer, while a combination of celery and parsley juices will help relieve arthritis pain.
