How to Write a Complaint Letter For Phone Services thumbnail
You might be having issues with your phone reception.

At some point, you will most likely be disappointed in some type of service you receive from a company. For example, you might have an issue with the phone service you're receiving. With the phone company, the bill can be wrong, the service can be poor or you just might be getting less than what you're paying for. In any of these cases, writing a letter of complaint for unsatisfactory phone service can help alert the company to the problem -- and hopefully fix it.

Instructions

    • 1

Add your name and all contact information to the top of the letter. You want to ensure the phone company can get back in touch with you to resolve your complaint. Your account number for the phone services you receive also should be included.

    • 2

Type the date you're sending the complaint letter to make sure all records are accurate.

    • 3

Include the name and address of the company, as well as the department concerned in your complaint.

    • 4

Write about what services you have, how much you're paying and the general issue in the first paragraph. If you're having any trouble with the phone itself, include the model and serial number.

    • 5

Describe the nature of the problem in the next paragraph. Include any previous correspondence or telephone contact you have had about the phone service issue, including the date, time and who you spoke with, if possible.

    • 6

Write about what you think the company should have done to improve the phone services and resolve the problem.

    • 7

Mention any attachments, such as receipts, bills or previous correspondence with the company. Then, ask that the company contact you immediately to resolve the issue.

    • 8

End the letter with a polite closing and both your signed and typed full legal name. This makes the complaint letter official.
