How to Restore an iPhone With iTunes 7.5

iPhone is a popular smart phone.

The iPhone is the popular smart phone offered by Apple. ITunes is the computer program that allows the user to integrate data from the iPhone and computer. This includes copying, photos, music and other files. The iPhone is automatically backed up by iTunes every time the iPhone is synced. If data on the iPhone is lost or the iPhone is damaged the phone can be restored as it was at the time of last sync with iTunes.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes.

2. Plug the iPhone into the computer using the supplied USB to iPhone cable.

3. Wait for the iPhone to appear in the iTunes menu on the left under "Devices." After the iPhone appears, select it.

4. Click the "Summary" tab in the iPhone browser window.

5. Scroll down and select "Restore."

6. Click "Back Up" when asked by iTunes if the phone should be backed up prior to restoring. This will make sure that the data on the iPhone is not lost if the restore fails.

7. Click "Restore." iTunes will automatically restore the iPhone.

8. Wait while the iPhone is restored. This will take a few minutes. When the restore is done, iTunes will pop up a message saying the restore was successful. The iPhone will reboot and the device will have been restored.
