If data on the iPhone is lost or the iPhone is damaged the phone can be restored as it was at the time of last sync with iTunes.

      Open iTunes.

      Plug the iPhone into the computer using the supplied USB to iPhone cable.

      Wait for the iPhone to appear in the iTunes menu on the left under "Devices." After the iPhone appears, select it.
