When planning a wedding it is important to make sure that everything, even the wedding cake, suits both the bride and groom. While classic wedding cake toppers can give the cake a traditional feel, customized wedding cake toppers can be keepsakes. Many artists specialize in making customized wedding cake topper figurines of the actual bride and groom. Most artists need at least eight to ten days in advance and close up photos of the bride and groom. You can usually choose from wooden, clay, bobble head and other types of figurines.
