  • Salt
  • White vinegar
  • Flour
  • Bowl
  • Rubber gloves
  • Rag
  • Dish soap
  • Cloth

Instructions

      Pour equal amounts (2 tablespoons) of salt, white vinegar and flour into a small bowl. This mixture is enough to clean one copper pan.

      Mix together the salt, vinegar and flour until it forms a uniform paste.

      Protect your hands with a pair of rubber gloves, then apply the paste evenly to the copper pan with a rag. Scrub the paste vigorously into discolored spots and stains.

      Rinse the copper pan under hot, soapy water to remove the paste.

      Buff the copper pan thoroughly with a clean cotton cloth until the shine is restored. If stains and discoloration remain, re-apply the paste, rinse and re-buff.
