How to Get an Inscription Above 300 in "World of Warcraft"
By learning the inscription profession in "World of Warcraft," you create glyphs for all classes to use, in addition to other items, such as scrolls that increase stamina and strength. As you create various inscription items, your inscription skill increases. If just below 300 points in inscription, you may be wondering how you can get to and above 300. There are a handful of items you can create to push you over the hump, but one in particular is ideal, because it doesn't require a lot of reagents.

Install "World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade." The first expansion to the original "World of Warcraft" is necessary to increase a profession skill over 300.

Increase your inscription skill to 290. You reach 290 points by simply creating glyphs and other inscription items taught by trainers in any major city. Whenever you run out of skill increasing items, visit the inscription trainer to learn new recipes. Once you reach 290 points, visit the inscription trainer and learn "Scroll of Stamina VI" and "Master Inscription."

Acquire 15 shimmering ink and 30 heavy parchments. You make shimmering ink from two silver pigments, which you can obtain by using your milling ability on Golden Sansam, Dreamfoil, Moutain Silversage, Sorrowmoss or Icecap. You likely used plenty of shimmering ink when leveling up your inscription skill to level 290. You can purchase heavy parchments from inscription vendors, located near inscription trainers.

Open the inscription window and click "Scroll of Stamina VI." Click "Create All." You see your inscription skill increase by one point for each scroll of stamina you create. Your skill increases to 301 after you create the 11th scroll. In all, you create 15 scrolls, increasing your inscription skill to 305.
