How to Disable Apple Remote With iTunes
If you enjoy watching videos or listening to music on your Mac, you may have installed Apple's free Remote application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to control iTunes. When you enable Apple Remote with iTunes, you can use your portable device to play, pause, stop, rewind or fast-forward through songs and movies. You can navigate through your music and video collection without having to get up from your chair and use the keyboard or mouse on your Mac. If you don't want the Apple Remote to work with iTunes anymore, you can easily disable it.
