How to Make Each Bullet Point Show Up Individually in a Powerpoint

Break down a bulleted list in a PowerPoint presentation.

If you have the Microsoft PowerPoint program, you can make a presentation for a class or work project using bullet points. Each bullet point can be featured on an individual slide, so that your list forms a cohesive yet structured presentation. At the end of the presentation, you may choose to place all the bulleted items in a single list so that viewers can see your points in one place.

Instructions

1. Open a new PowerPoint document. To do this, click the Start menu. Then click Programs or All Programs, then Microsoft Office, then Microsoft PowerPoint. A new PowerPoint presentation will open up on your screen.

2. Click one of the default text boxes on the screen so that your cursor is inside the box and flashing.

3. Click the down arrow next to the Bullets icon on the Home toolbar tab. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the style of bullets you would like to use. That bullet will appear in your text box.

4. Type the information for your bullet point, but don't press Enter.

5. Click the New Slide icon on the Home tab, followed by clicking on the format of the slide you would like. Then, repeat the previous three steps until you have completed your bulleted list.
