      Purchase a dry erase board and board easel in coordinating sizes along with a variety of markers from an office supply store. The board should be large enough to accommodate all menu items. Dry erase boards are less expensive and easier to update than professionally manufactured menu boards.

      Separate the board into two sections. On the left side write the different sizes of cones available along with their prices.

      Write the available flavors of different syrups on the right side of the dry erase board. One flavor of syrup is typically included in the price. If you are charging for additional flavors, be sure to list the price on the menu.

      Place the menu board on the easel and place it next to the stand so customers can see it. If the weather is bad, place the board inside of the stand so that it can be viewed behind the server or through a window.
